An example that good deals CAN be found on Ebay. This is a personal grail that I scored for only $27. Surprised only one other person bid on it. 
It needs new belts, but so what? Everything else works great.

This box only weighs 10.5 lbs................ but it takes 8 batteries, which is weird, because its big brother the TPR-950 only takes 6.

Of particular note are these toggle switches ----- they don't look special, but they move VERY smoothly, they are a joy to use:

The LED on this box is awesome, it's got TWELVE segments and is very bright.
And in Aiwa tradition, it works on ALL input sources, not just the tape player.
And finally, it even has a lighted tuner indicator!!

. Love to hunt for "other' "non grails" boxes. They are coming for better prices and IMO is not necessary for box to be huge to be coool. Love those rare catches
