i was posting this somewhere else (non boombox related) when i realized i havent ever posted these in the collection area... this sums up my collection minus one lloyds box that is in parts on the floor... my main obsession throughout life has been music prior to boomboxes specifically.. u can see a few of my cds, cassettes and tapes behind the second photo... i grew up working in record shops... so... unfortunately? there is more media crowding my living space all around the rest of the house...

It is an AEC 8700... it still has the original protective peel off plastic coverings on the panels... you can see part of it bubbling up in the photo... if anyone knows anything about it, i would love to hear... i know practically nothing about this one... the date code stamped in the battery compartment says 4788.. so i am assuming it is from 88?
