Repairing The Antenna of Hitachi TRK-3D7

Hello. I hope everyone's doing OK.

I have a Hitachi TRK-3D7 which I want to use for listening to radio. But its attached antenna got completely de-attached. I am attaching a picture to the post. I have never done any electronic repairs before; and I want to attach a new antenna to this machine.
Do I need a specific antenna model? Or which antenna should I buy? Which tools do I need? Are there any instructions online?
Thanks!

There usually is an antenna screw on the back of most boomboxes that hold the antenna in place unless the plastic inside is broken. Some antennas are a little thicker then others and they are most of the time all different lengths you would probably have to try Ebay or Amazon or maybe try goodwill for a cheap boombox and take the antenna off of it.

This will require a teardown to access the inside. You can buy new aerials with the bottom mount. Alternatively you can jam a piece of copper wire in the hole.
