I remember long ago, in another site, someone mentioned they scored some reel type cassettes with gospel music prerecorded on them. So I sometimes go through the box of junk cassettes that you see on the floor at your local goodwill, thrift store, swapmeet, etc. Today it paid off - found a couple of those reel cassettes.
In the box there was a bunch of the same serier of cassettes, all recorded with different songs or bible verses. From the outside they all appeared to be the same except a couple of these were the reel type cassettes. The others were just regular clear cassette with the plastic insert thing and black writting.
These are dated 1983 & 1987 and still sound real good. According to the tape box they are recorded on XDR Expanded Dynamic Range with Dolby HX Pro. Very short tape lenght though, prolly 15-20 minutes each side. They are the type with screws so would be easy to spool in some quality tape in them.
Anywho - here they are. I'm including a picture of the actual cassette box just in case you come across these in your searchings.
