Recording issue with Philips D8644

Hi, I have a Philips boombox D8644, it plays perfectly cassette, but it does not record properly.
More precisely the issues are two:

-FIRST issue: the recorded sound is always distorted (independently on the volume se for the recording) and this happen also when the cassette a blank cassette. Do you have any guess on that?
-SECOND issue: the erase head does not work. Inspecting it, it seems that there are some missing part in it (i.e. the solenoid). Do you know an erase head that I can buy which is compatible with it?

Thanks in advance.

Your problem(s) appear in this thread. It doesn't present a solution I am afraid but maybe it is of interest for you.

thanks a lot, at least I understood a little more about the issue. I also attach 2 pics about the schematics related to the erase head (the red rectangle should be the part regarding the bias oscillator circuit) and the table with some technical parameters (source of the pics: Philips D8644 service manual). Since the table provides some info (e.g. the erase oscillator frequency), then from the schematic it should be possible to recover the value of the inductance for the erase head
