Hello to all
here it is,
I am at my 5th (rc-m70)
and this time, I'm not !
I got it from an ebay seller who told me that the belts had to be changed!
So I dismantle, I change, I reassemble, I test!
and here it is, a difference of sound (loss of power) problem of bass slider, and that the membranes begin to shake !!!!
in the radio, phono and aux position, no problem?
only when tapping!
I started to read all the topics on the forum!
I end up solving the problems:
the cassette sound and correct, the bass slider (still not solved)
I can finally record
I can finally record the dismantled device,
I take the opportunity to lubricate (after cleaning) all the sliders and switches (loudness, tape selector, and selector source)
everything seems in order!
I put everything back on the chassis and not in the box, and a small copper piece (it looks like a flat spring) falls on my work surface!
I try and except the power supply quiet good,
no more sound!
no sound in the speakers or in the headphones
only an electric background noise.
no tape, no radio, no aux no phono.
I lost the auto stop, the mms
does anyone have any idea!
thank you in advance to all
PS: This is rc-m70L VERSION EUROPE

I second what Floyd said.
I've had one of these pop out on me before.
It should be fairly easy to figure out which switch it fell out of.
