What are they, 10s????
Woofers are 8", but trims and grills are 10".
Not easy to find sensitivity 10" woofers down here, so I will make with "handy" ones...

Cheers.

I Am Legend
there is soooooooooooooo much effort involved -
... you will have a better end result if you go on a deep search for 10" woofs -

worth the wait
imho

I'm keep looking, but until not found, the 8" do the job and belive me... ...sounds like a MONSTER with a real LITTLE Amp.

Cheers.

Liking the progress so far. One thing to consider are your very deep set tweeters. You will have much reduced off axis tweeter performance. In other words, if you mounted the tweeter through the front, the highs will be much stronger when listening in any position other that directly in front of the unit. Just my thoughts.... :-)

James..... :-)

That tweeters are SCREAMERS... ...I do like that to reduce de "scream effect".

Cheers.

Probably a good thing you didn't go with a set of 10s. Most 10 inch speakers would struggle to produce good mids. I think the biggest drivers you would want to have in a 2 way speaker set up are 8s.

It should sound like my V2.0 as your cabinet looks nice and big. :-)

Is that head unit also the amp or are you running a separate amp?

Separate amp Jimmy (PAM8610 Mini Board)
That multimedia module produces an HIGH ground noise when in low volumes, need to find a better quallity one.

More pics, need two tweeter trims, thinking on HOW built a functional and nice handle and making an FAKE tuner dial scale and building an trim for multimedia module.
The battery it's behind that fake deck door.

WOW what a beast! What material did you use for the outside of the box? Looks nice and clean, I'll bet that guy pumps out some serious sound.

Nice work Hardmen, those gold speaker rings do look very pimp! :-)

With regard to your head unit issues, have you tried a Lepai LP-2020+ ? You'll get a solid 20 watts RMS per channel into 4 ohms, bass & treble controls and two rear inputs so you can have Bluetooth and RCA inputs - if you power a Lepai amp with your 12V SLA, you'll have no buzzing etc - perfectly silent in that respect. (Of the Lepai range, the LP-2020+ is the only model to get).

James.... :-)
