hello all,,just had a conversation last week with lopez about handels that dont stay up or if the tilt they fall....just an annoying thing...so i was looking for something to wedge into a plastic clip without damaging the plastic clip itself....well icame up wiyh this idea....i had some extra clips from one of the door panels on my car when i did the upholstery job...they were plastic retainer clips with a foam backing....well i tryed and it works like a charm all idid was remove the back of the radio and got acess to the handel itself and removed it...split the foam in half with a razor blade ...and i placed it in between the handel and the locking clip squezzed it back together and placed it back in the slot and the foam allowas it to crush nicley and presto no more droppimg handel has a nice sturdy feel here are the pic of the job also the clip part # is from a chevy part #10350983....i also belive this will work on a few others as long as they have the plastic squezze clip here are the photo's
