A have a good question-Should I replace the woofers in my Toshiba WX-1 or should I have the originals re-coned??
Is there a good place to have these re-coned?? In Tn.?? :hmmm:
I know of a place in St.Paul,Mn. just hope it's still there.
I have a decsion to make on this but just wondering if anyone has done anything to a WX-1 like this?
Any suggestions would be great.
Thanks-Jeff. :-)

Hi Floyd-That's cool but I have a bad paper cone to! One of my wooofers is all tore up!
So I would need to have it re-coned so where would I get the paper for the cone as I believe this is just for the surrounds?! :hmmm:
My passive radiators are ok!

This may help but still thinking it needs full re-coning. :hmmm:
Will show photos llater by weekend!
Thanks for this-Jeff. :-)

Yes,I'll take photos tomorrow afternoon after I give it a little more cleaning! :-)
The left woofer literally is "ToreUp" :-O There are some paper pieces around the surround that have fallen in!
The right woofer I haven't looked to close, will do tomorrow,I think it's just the surround on that one but not sure until closer inspection.
BTW-Here's some photos of it before it came,I guess it might just be the surrounds?!
I'm still taking photos of the woofers out of their psarcophogous's for a full inspection & to push any small indentations out of the grills.

I'm really going to have fun fixing this one!! :-D
It's cleaning up better than I thought.
I may just find a re-coning place but it has to be good! I want these to sound as close to original as possible!

Thanks again for your help-Jeff. :-)
