No that isn't! You needs cable that has 3.5 connections on every end. This is what you need:

Oops! I just realized I posted this wrong. The cable needs to have 2 male mono 3.5 mini ends and a female end that you plug your stereo male end into from your music playing device.

Here's a pic from the link that blu_fuz posted. This is the cable you need. I have one similar to this but I just bought one of these too because I like the fact that the male ends on this one are flat and don't stick out like the one I have.
