I saw a little boombox at a thrift store today. It was a Nobility LI-2000 (3-piece) - made in Taiwan. Speakers are rated at a mere 2W, but it is a cute little thing. When I first saw it, I thought it could have been a Sanyo. I didn't get it because the battery door is missing and the antenna is screwed up. If the box has some better known AKAs, I might go back and get it and hope to find a battery door later.

Anybody else ever heard of the Nobility brand?

Yes I herard of nobility ,but there`s only a 70s cassette alone unite in the base.
I believe it`s a goldstar trademark.there are a lot of 60s transitor radios .some of them are aka`s of similar goldstar versions, so I assume that.
