Question about Japanese Sharps

Some Japan-market Sharps have tuners that go all the way up to 108, but on the window it says "TV band 1-3"

Shouldn't make any difference, right?

Has anyone had any problem receiving FM all the way up to 108?

My gf 535/9000 is a 100 volt JDM model and the tuner does go up to 108 and it picks up stations great. Also works great on 120 volts although I'm not saying to do this it just works fine for me.

I have owned a GF999, GF909, a GF515 and i have a GF535, all of them tuned up to 108 no problem, but i did hear some only tune up to 90mhz, i think Reno has litfans old sony and that goes to 90mhz, but i still think Japanese only domestic models are slightly better than worldwide models but that's just my personal preference.

Yep, no worries, mate, had/have such ones - all the way up to 108 just all right.
