Pye DRC 1002

I had one of these as a kid, and when this minty fully working one popped up on the bay I had to grab it. Sort of a personal grail I wanted.

aka Kreisler I think, but mine was this version - Pye.

Played a lot of Sex Pistols and Stiff Little Fingers on this radio, I intend to keep up the tradition.

Nice score there, I like to see everyones personal grails and its really nice when someone finds something they have been holding out for. I love M90's and C100's as much as the next guy but its these personal grails where the sheer variety thats out there stands out.

ive got a very very similar binatone.only main difference is that the speakers are on show and a nice pair of led meters.....seen the pye badged as a yorx too.very unusual style,even for a pye and i cant recall a philips equivalent of that they normally shared each others designs didnt they?
