I've cleaned my share of corroded battery terminals over the years. it just sucks and once they are cleaned it seems they rust up so much faster. That acid or whatever it is that's left behind is difficult to conquer.

Being an avid listener and user of boomboxes requires me to load batterys constantly and yes I try to remove them when not in use for extended periods...this leadse to my question.

Does anyone know of a method to help guard and protect against the inevitable leaky battery and rusty springs? Does spraying the contacts with wd-40 or another substance help? Kind oflike oiling your guns before storage...

Thanks!
