Pretty good local score !

It has been very slow around here for any decent local radios. Came across this gem of a blaster. This is the GPX9 90 a.k.a. branded as helix , and it's gold ! I have the sensor brand and this radio sounds pretty good for what it is .

Not quite that good of a deal . But I was able to talk him down and I paid one third of what he was asking for it and he gave me the Sony .

Just has a missing cassette dooe and aluminum trim above the meters. Unfortunately these VU meters are stuck too just like my Sensor. Helix only has AM and FM radio, no SW.

Definitely a nice looker, and THE definition of "vintage"

Would look good nailed to the garage wall. Someone needs to do that --- take all their parts boxes and nail the front cases to their garage wall.

I'm excited to see this gold shined up.


Just checked out the battery area, springs are really really rusty.

There is no DC plug option or REC OUT rca jacks on this Helix like the Sensor has.

Factory, I believe.
