So I have my Japanese Edition Victor M50 which was given to me by my good friend BMoney... So to keep the pitch right I have to have it here (where the picture shows) is there a way to be able to "reset" it to be able to get correct pitch out of playback and have the knob dead center? :hmmm:

My guess... Rebelt and lubricate mechanism, then recalibrate speed with pitch control in center position. Speed adjustment prolly internally (motor) accessed via hole on backside with flat jewelers screwdriver.

Ok! It was rebelted a couple weeks ago I would say, but I didn't see any access to the motor... I'll double-check again and see what I can take pictures of if there's no access Norm, thanx brother!!! :smooch:

Man... I'm so :annoyed: at the Victor Design Department ( ????????) for putting the speed control screw on the back side of the motor!!! I'm taking it out, (about a gazillion screws - including the back cover screws) Adjusting by eye, putting it back together again and then playing a tape to see if it's got the right speed.... UGH!!! But it'll be worth it!!! I just got about 100 more times to go....
:dunce:
