Anyone have more than one?
Wondering what you thought of the performance between the SK-550 and SK-700/750, whether one was more powerful than the other. The SK-550 is noticeably shorter than the SK-700/SK-750. But I found some interesting facts:
Same width, but SK-550 is about 2" shorter.
SK-700/SK-750 powered by 12 volts, compared to 13.5 volts for the SK-550
SK-700/750 powered by the HA1392 amp. SK-550 powered by the TA-7240P amp. Operated in dual config, both specs are similar but in the SK-550, it is getting MORE voltage.
These suggests to me that on paper, the SK-550, albeit a little smaller is a more formidable powerhouse than the larger SK-700/750.
