What's the difference between the 900 and 909?
Not sure about the 909, but 900 is pretty sweet

I think it is only the manual band select next to the tuning knob... But wait till a more savvy person tells you, for i got the 909 but only have seen the 900 in pics.

Thus the 900 would not have the band select (only being a Jap model and only having FM), right?

Oh, I see - 909 only has 220/240V - I didn't realize that. There was one on US ebay recently - and the seller didn't say anything about it not having US voltgage. Also, 8W vs 13W - that's quite a difference :w00t:

Two of its speakers are passive, right?

Yes, the two inner speaker are passive radiators

Greetings ,

Lutz

100% sure about that (I am asking, for I have not opened mine yet to "Clean", nor have I had the chance to read on its specs)?

these have 2 woofers and 2 radiators,1 of each in sealed enclosures on each side of the box , you can access the speakers by removing the front face panel of the box and the speakers are mounted inside the box when the front cover is removed.
