Ok decided to start on my PIONEER SK-900
deck was continually playing when powered on controls didnt work
Just thought it may be belts
wow its all over the place screws screws and more screws
things hanging of cables that cant be released not for weak hearted
So I got to the deck and changed the belts
Took me a while to work out you dont just have to open the door but remove the door front panel
Now the hard bit to get it back together
When i first opened i heard something fall still havent fished that out yet
the thing im trying to work out at the moment is where this little spring clips on to
The only places i can see are the holes marked 1 and 2
Anyone remember
I have the manual but It doesnt seem to show the position to connect the spring
well now the tape has stopped but still no reaction when controls are pushed
control lights for play fast forward show but no motion
