Pioneer SK-550

What's up all, looking for used boxes brought me to the site. Picked this gem up for $70 from a lady in Kentucky. Everything works perfect on here and the antenna is in mint condition. Only issue I have is that I have to hold the FF botton down for an extra second in order for it to do it's thing. All in all she's in pretty damn good shape and there are very few blemishes. I was thinking the battery compartment was gonna be corroded and rusted out but it looks like they never even used it.

Growing up in the South Bronx my Cousins and I had had boxes. Mine was imported in from Puerto Rico thanks to my favorite Uncle.

Not a fan of sliders........but that is a cool looking box, and being a Pioneer I bet it sounds nice

Thanks and it definitely sounds nice. Drove to The Bronx from Jersey to dig up a bunch of old tapes I had at my Mother's house and flew home so I can check it out. I can't complain at all. Sounded great! I'm going to an estate sale tomorrow, maybe I'll find something good.
