Right hand unit with refoamed drivers and new deck keypad:

There is a black button on top and bottom that the whole speaker cabinets pivot on. You can see the ones in the top without removing any circuit boards once you get the top panel off. From the bottom you need to take the plate off, remove the feet and a few other screws to get the plate off and same "button" is there. Press them both and it'll compress the axle it pivots on and it'll allow cabinet to slide out. It'll maybe get stuck on the pin that is the release button on the top of the cabinets, the bit that's under the press button that angles the speakers out......they kind of come out sideways. It's a tad fiddly
See where my screwdriver is? Above it at 1 o'clock is the black "button" that is actually the axle. Press on that with a screwdriver or whatever while doing the same underneath and slide it out sideways

Better pic of the two axle ends in the top with circuit boards removed. You do not need to remove all this to get to them though

That black button:
Grills are a bitch to remove if he's trying to. They're glued in. Pray the glue has gone hard and brittle.
You will need to remove that black strap that's around the cabinets to get to 2 screws underneath it. Don’t remove the button from the cabinet that holds the strap, it's easier to stretch the strap over the holding button. You'd snap the button if you tried to get it out
👆 That's once you’ve removed the cabinets of course.
