Hello all,
I have purchased a like new Pioneer CK-5 component...boombox , works A1 ,cleaned to near new state. As you know the foam sourrounds on both full range drivers are DRY ROTTEN. I removed the crumbling foam and cleaned both drivers.
Now refoaming round speakers is a piece of cake, how do you "form" or "adapt" the foam from round refoaming kits? I saw "refoaming" tips using absorbing cloth(treated) used by a few restorators in Japan for square Sony drivers.
Anyone has a tutorial or experience refoaming square drivers?
Thank you.
