Got this dirty PHILIPS a time ago on flea.
First i wanted to repair it.
But the tapedrive is so broken, not able to repair.

And i have another nice one, so no need for it.

Will pull out the tapedrive and implant a colorchanging LED-lite.
Also some flashlites in the speakers.
Paintingjob, shoulderstrap,....

Must be finished till end of the year.
This will be my box for the sylvesterparty on the danube island...

With a big cleaning...

Fails on battery, think the switch in the ACplug is it.

No discolite in the tapedoor, i will implant the player.

Ok, worked the whole afternoon on it.

Open the box.
btw: this one is not good to work on.

taken off the tweeters.
They are mounted on cones.
Will be impressive looking, to mount there the supra LEDs :devil:

Much work to make the tapedrive free.

Finally done. Away with it.

Difficoult to remount the circuit board.
It was monted on the tapedrive.
Provisoric done, but need some distance holders for full mounting.

Checking radio and MP3 function. Works!

So it will look when mounted the player inside.
The eject function is still working, but i must mount a special button to open the door.

connect the LEDs to the speakers.

first test: ROCKS

Think it´s able to imagine how strong they are!
10000microcandelar!!!
Think i must mount a diffusor in front of them.
You would go blind when looking to long at them.
