picked up a few things on weekend

so i won the HK9000 on our auction site for the huge sum of $1. tho its branded Technica not Sharp. its well beat up as you can see, but it all works. need 2 new doors if anyone got any. speaker grills dented to hell, seriously dusty/dirty, the detachable speaker posts are mostly gone.
my plan is to make a completely new wooden 1 piece box for it. but still have separate internal speaker boxes.
then i picked up the Grundig at a second hand shop i check out every now an then. cool little radio and everything works perfectly. and got the 3 mics (sanyo, national, toshiba) and the Disco Service record cloth there too.
and the Sanyo M4100k was my grandparents, so i feel honored to have that as a reminder of them. needs a clean but again everything works perfectly.

What's the sound quality on the Grundig like and is it a 'Tone' box or does it have separate Base & Treble controls?

yea sounds alright. not huge, looks like only 4inch speakers so very little bass. be a good radio for listening to the cricket in the park/beach
im not an expert with German (guessing Grundig is German?) Klang is Tone? Klang sounds cooler

yes i think they rather loud. sounds quite good. iv not given mine a decent clean up yet so could sound better still.
