Hi everyone-Here's the photos of the Sony CFD-440(1992') I got and the GE 7-2028A mono boombox I got for .99!!
The cord was cut on this but I reparied it(built in AC cord type)
They both sound incredible!!

Both for less then $5.00US!!
They were quite dirty & had tape and stuff on them but cleaned up amazingly well!
I lke finding really nice sounding boomers for next to nothing! :yes:

That GE is known as the Superadio I (SRI) and is worth a shocking amount of money on eBay in minty condition. My grandmother had one, and I was thought it was the bomb at the time. From what I remember, it sounded very good and had big sound for about 0.7 watts and a 5" full-range.

I have the Superadio III (6.5" speaker and tweeter) and I hear the original SRI is better.

I really like this radio-sound is very good and it has a great tuner!! :-)
