Here's some photos of my Sanyo M-9990K that I just reviewed.
I'm sorry about the back and the side and around the dial light.I need to clean it again as I've been using it the last couple of weeks.
More photos tomorrow-cleaning it up!
Enjoy & have a super week-GB. :-) :surf:

I had one of those before I stepped up to my 880, If I had know they were worth keeping I probably would have, I did have the manual but I gave it to JT I think

I love this vintage of Sanyo
They are so nice looking and have a great build quality
compared to some of the later models.
Looking pretty mint bro congrats!!!

i dont understand the forces at work that took sanyo down the road of producing garbage in the later years.
i mean it just seems to me that they went from making cool well made things like this era to just utter horrible crap later on.
i have a sanyo pa karoke machine kicking around here some place that converts into a boombox.
while it sounds pretty good in fact i am sure the woofers are the same as the m9999k the unit is so badly made that i am scared to look at it the wrong way for fear of its suddenly blowing apart into pieces.
in fact i am so suspicious of how badly it is made i still have not taken it apart and set it up as a boombox.

nice looking m9990k.

That's a great looking box! Could use dual antennas tho. :-/ Still, that wouldn't stop me from buying one.

hey jeff how about a comparison between this and the m9935 you posted.
what are the differences in the sound quality between the two.
what are the differences between the sensitivity of the tuners of both.
they both look similar in size are they in fact the same size.

Hi Bill-all I can tell you is that the M9990 is in another league-The 9990 series & up are heavy hitters-and it's way more powerful and has much better bass than the 9935.
The 9935 is a nice sounding box but only has tone and has a less powerful amp.
The 9935 sure looks nice and does sound nice but the 9990 weighs more than twice the 9935-seems like it.
I'll be doing a review on the 9935 next weekend.
Have a good one-GB. :-)

Congrats the 9990 was my 1st big boombox back in the day. They have a great sound quality to them. They might not be the loudest on the block but the sound out of them for the size was fantastic. The 9994 will actually take it but no clock lol

Oh ya from my understanding Sanyo got bought out by Fisher when Fisher went down hill also and that is when Sanyo got cheap!!
