Hi everyone-I just went yard saleing today and being that I'm kind of broke right now I only had a few dollars so I was lucky.
Within walking distance from my house I got a Candle Model VMS-1223 3 band mono boombox for 1.00!!
Intact antenna and papers/manual and spec paper.It's heavy and old,you should see the instructions.You could tell the people from tokyo couldn't pronounce sentences to well.I'm going to post photos tomorrow.
I also got a Emerson Model K3661A mono boombox for 1.00!! All there and I had one just like it that I had left back in a parking lot in 1999' on July 4th.I always liked that radio-I was in my fireworks bag and I was in such a hurry to go camping with my friends up north I had left it by the trunk outside!.
Well now I have another-exactly like it!!
Great finds today for so cheap-I'm happy!
BTW this Candle is very heavy for it size and is good sounding am/fm/sw and built in power cord and runs on 4 c's!
I heard Candle boomboxes are rare??!! Is this true,I want to ger a real stereo Candle boombox someday.
