Photos Of Some Very Cool Vintage Gear I Just Got!

Hi, here's some photos of some cool stuff I got.
The receiver is a Kenwood KR-4200 and is in great shape and fully works! 1973!
I also have a Pioneer turntable which is belt drive fully automatic.
They are both made with real wood!
Then the piece of resistance-a pair of just mint Sanusi 3 way 12" loudspeakers! !
They sound phenomenal even when hooked up to the 19wpc Kenwood! These Sansuis even have the original card placards that are stapled in to the back, all original.😎🎵

The model # on these speakers are SP-170M.

The Sansui's came in a 15 inch woofer version too!!

Has a pair in the 90's but they were poor performers next to a pair of british built Wharfedale Dovedale III's!

So they went up for sale in my shop & sold the next day................Great lookers though!

I have 2 pairs of technics similar to this with 13"" drivers...while they look superb i agree Nick they are poor performers lad but my god they are loud, hope you are liking it here Nick lad, hey do you think you could sort out one of my m90's ehh, Reno

Meant to say earlier I love the 1970's green backlit tuner dials!
Pioneer did a very nice blue lit dial on their huge tuner/amps which were all the rage at the time.......
They just look like they mean business & I spent many an hour just looking at those dials at various folks houses
Then came the STK single chip stereo output stages & it was goodbye to the wood & brushed silver fascia's & hello to slimmed down lovely silver amps & tuner/amps How fast things changed around 1979/80!!

That KENWOOD is beautiful! Love the color of the tuner window, nice warm glow. Can you post some pics of your turntable?

BTW, these may be for sale.
But the speakers sound so fantastic and are so mint I might be keeping these!☺
