Hi all-I have some photos finally of my Pioneer SK-550 silver edition model.
I love how clean this is and it all works except the deck.
There's no power to the cassette motor and I believe it's the connection on the back of the circuit board where the motor plugs in as it seems loose! :hmmm:
I will be testing with the meter soon!

I really like this and I have the black edition as well, there seems to be no difference other than the color of the grills.
Hope you like it & have a great week-GB. :-) :surf:  :choco: :-D

Thanks Glue & everyone!! I appreciate that! I wonder if these are rare as I've only seen a silver once or twice-ever! :-O

BTW-Glue-you did an incredible job on that M-90!! It's stunning!! :-O   It's improved over the Jamaican theme!

Thanks again all & have a great week-Jeff. :-) :-D :surf:

It's one of my favorite Boxes to look at of all time because of the cool design
and those fun sliders.
The silver is simply gorgeous!

Cheers OSS :afro:

Hi Ramon, the black one is possibly In an older post.
I'll try to find it when I have time.
Thanks & I'm glad I could find this for you.
I just need to find a cassette deck section w/board to replace so
my cassette will work on this unit.
As far as sound, these have a well balanced sound not super bassy
But have decent highs and get pretty loud. Overall a nice box with
a dial light that can be pushed on for a moment or it can be pushed
to stay on which I really like.
A classy boomer,I like em'!
Have a good one-Jeff. :-)

jeff for what i saw the deck has coneections to the rear main board meaning that u must try the motor first per norm as it has a circuit just for the motor on that board which i did noticed that the motor had it main wires running to the mainboard :-) btw looking for the sk-750 anyone   bump :w00t: :w00t: :w00t:

That is a real slick radio. I love the big lettering on top. The styling is very classy and refined. Looks too classy to be called a 'GhettoBlaster'.
