Philips Elephant test

Had my working hat on last weekend (....and the misses went to Paris). Cleaned and de-fungused most of these two bad boys. Right after that they had to be tested!! One sounds great and very powerfull the other lacks something in range and overall power... Looks like it needs a more thorough check up.

Almost finished restoring another D8614 to which gave me real pleasure doing. Will post a few pics when iets completely done.

this is probably the only philips i would honestly say id still love to own hurb,and yours look great examples,and with a few more man hours i hope you manage to get the other firing on all cylinders properly too! :-D

Calimera Dits! I haven't got a clue.... I will post the difference in db when I can. I will look into connections to speakers and tweeters. What caught my attention as well is there's a coluor diffrence between the speakers. The good one has got light speakers and the bad one has got darker speakers. Maybe someone has changed the speakers at some stage... Have you got any experience with this one?
