My father in law has found yet another bbx at the 'dump'. Can't remember the brand, but it was a lil' guy. And when he was putting it in the car he said "Now Jr said this was a rare one".

That's all I'm saying, and I don't have pictures. The last time I posted in this thread the Mister fussed at me because 'he' likes to unveil the new boxes.

So.... :tease: neener, neener neener!

Yeah, I know I'm such a tease.....it's part of my charm. :smooch:

Some little silver one. Tape Deck, Speakers, Top Knobs, Back Battery Compartment, surely y'all can figure it our from that description.....right? ;-)

Well, first off, it's not silver. It's a nice champagne color. ;-) And apparently doesn't have an AC jack. It only has a jack for 9V DC.

Only a few boxes come in a champagne color. The "9V DC only" knocked out JVC, Conion, and Majestic.

Finally snapped a few pics of the Marantz PMS-3040. Dad also found a Marantz PMS-3020 at the same dump. :w00t: What are the odds?! The cassette door on the 3020 is loose, but I don't think it's completely broken. Does anybody know a good paint code for the grilles? :huh:

Not quite the dump. It's actually the Goodwill Distribution Outlet. We nicknamed it the dump because everything is just dumped in table bins. Sometimes you get lucky and your item isn't totally trashed. Plus, it helps to have an "in" too. ;-)
