i ran some want ads here ( i think)?? and on s2g --
for a month or so --
no results --so this one came from ebay

its not a big bad scary thing
but --there is one quirk about this whole
'how it sounds' matter --

if we love the looks --we at least LIKE the sound
anybody know what i mean???

never had or heard the c45 --
but some of us have a tiny c50 --which sound almost as good as this
much bigger c53

Yes,those are real square woofers.

Skippy is right Ira those are real square woofers, And u must have a C-45 is almost the same size as the C-53 but sounds it bit better IMHO . Great box that C-53 and the graphic analizer is Ira .

I would bet my bottom dollar that there origional square type ira i have had a couple of pannas like this and a credit to panasonic they never put those shitty fakes in.

i bet its a pretty decent little radio. i mean yes i do like them to sound nice but honestly i like ones that are well designed and well made even better.
i most likely would not pass up that model if i came across it in my travels.
its a pretty neat boombox and i am a fan of the square speaker designs having three boomboxes with square wooofers.

Generally speaking I'm not a fan of the square speakers.That box gets it right ! That's one I'd get even if the sound was bad. That was a wise choice IMO.
