Panasonic RX5300 mod :)

So I love the quality and sound of the 5300 but its got to be the ugliest box out

So I decided to make a few changes...stripped down, cut out the boring waffle grills, adapted and fitted new ones with an extra bar across the middle, filled the gaps and holes, respray, then added a bit of flash

Looks like a whale of an effort. I personally like the "libraian" way of the original looks but can definitely see the potential in the changes.

I also love to leave it with the original looks! But it doesn't hurt if it is a beaten up and not cosmetically good box. It is all part of the fun.

The value is "GONE WITH THE WIND" once you do any kind of modification.

modification unless really needed lowers value in most cases but honestly this unit isn't really at the top of a collectors dream list so they sell pretty cheap already

Can't get much cheaper than the nothing I paid for this box so I can't really lower its value any further lol...I wouldn't dream of doing major modding to anything decent or of high value...don't see any harm in modding the ugly or the cheap for a bit of fun...certainly didn't do this thinking I'd be making money on it
