Hey everyone! First post here but a little sad it’s issue related.
I bought my dad a Panasonic RX5050 on eBay for his birthday and when the seller sent me a video of it running, it was playing tapes fine. It even worked for me the first time I tried it.
But now when I pop in a cassette, it looks like only the right side of the cassette raises up, halts after a second or two and then drops the right side back down. If I then try to eject the tape, I have to press the button a few times before it comes out.
I’m new to all of this so my knowledge is pretty limited. Is this a newbie friendly fix? Thanks!!
