Panasonic RX DT680 HELP

HI Panasonic RX DT680
This worked flawlessly till yesterday. Tape deck one. When play a tape sometimes it start and plays, sometimes not. Some times the left reel as you look in does not turn and tape piles up inside. Push the reel post in less than 1/16 inch and it works both ways for a while.
The contacts above are clean, I resprayed just to be sure.
1. Could this be belt issue?
2. Or is the gear inside has chipped a gear? (Big problem, there was a fellow Mikholm that made new gears.)
3.I have original belt part numbers, but when cross referenced the sizes vary quite a bit for each one. WHAT is the correct size and where do you get them?
HOW hard to replace belts? How about gear replacement?

It's not too bad, once you get the front off the 680 the entire deck mech pulls out as one piece.

Thanks for reply. I think by things I read, and trying the unit it is the gear RDG577SZC, USUALLY PART 108 & 208 in diagrams.
Have you ever done the gear or belts for RX DT680?
I have source gears and belts. Looks like gears come from European countries, or eBay via china.

Check the pinch rollers they go all soft.
