Picked up a Panny CT800 on the cheap on epay. I know this model came out prior to the platinum series but for $20 I figured I couldn't go wrong. The picture and description say its perfect so my fingers are crossed. I have never heard this model so if any of you out there have one I would appreciate any input as to what I should expect soundwise...here is the link...http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... X:IT...let me know what you think... :-D

ITs a nice looking box for sure.I have one I picked up at Goodwill some time ago.Its closer to an entry level 3 piece in performance.Mine gets a good deal of use as it has a line in.The sound is nice and balanced and can get to a decent loudness.Bass output is in keeping with its lower input power which is to say its not meant to be overly impressive but just gives the music a pleasing balance. As I remember its EQ does not allow you to overdrive the bass. Its sliders allow fine sound all the way up.You can get some nice sharp highs making rock sound good.Hope this helps to inform you.

...thanks for the input fellas. I figured it wasn't much of a gamble at $20. Good to know there are some members here who have one and enjoy listening to it. I plan on doing the same...can't wait to get it.
