does anyone know if the mic input can also be used an an input for an ipod or a cd player? im gonna be boying one of these units real soon and wanna know. any info would be great

The mic input can be used but it won't sound very good. The regular aux input is your best bet for optimum sound quality. I have one of these and the sound is wonderful...you will love this box....
