Panasonic RX-5500

Hi guys! I know I haven't posted much especially lately but here is a picture of my Panasonic RX-5500. It looks like it has been through a war zone but not excessively so considering its age and best of all it still at least partly works. The cassette player works but the tape counter doesn't. The radio doesn't work and the antenna is broken off.

Yes, it has been playing cassettes okay but the radio doesn't work. I don't know anyone locally that fixes them and I don't have the extensive funds needed to rehab this boombox. I wil keep it for what it is. It is definitely a classic and these are hard to find nowadays in any condition. Thanks! :-)

This particular box came from JVCFloyd! I've had it about 5 years or so.

the old panny is still kicking , i think think that one originally came from sinister in one of the earlier deals .
glad to see somebody lookin' after it , she's die hard and still a sweet machine and built as good as it gets.

Yes Bill you're right! I bought Bill's Quasar GX-3642 he had listed on Ebay. I shouldn't have but I did. :lol: :lol: I couldn't help myself, had to have it!
I don't buy many because they go higher than what I can afford but Bill had this priced very fairly and just within my budget. :yes: :yes:
