Picked up a panasonic at a carboot a while ago for a few quid. Decided to actually get around to doing something with it. Cracked it open and after much fiddling i decided the best way to go was to attach a jack to the inner-side of the r/l line in. Threaded the jack into the tape deck, this mod doesn't kill the tape deck as you can just push the jack to the side when playing tapes.
Next step im thinking of getting a rechargeable battery pack for it. Can anyone point me in the right direction to get that sorted?
Also, this is going to be my festival sound system. So a colour overhaul is on the books at some point.
