So i had a chat with my wife the other day and she was commenting that i hadn't bought any boxes for a while (which she was kinda pleased about) and i gave it lots of talk of not buying anything much because i have my sights set on some higher end ones so not really looking to get anything at the moment. The next day this box arrives, i buy a Philips D8714 Elephant on ebay and a Sharp GF-8 mini on ebay, doh
This thing is gorgeous though and i had wanted one for a while....

Sound is very good for a mono, good bass and very clear sound but obviously not a volume monster. It does look bloody good tho!

Love this box, think it's beautiful. I got the version with the different grill sitting in my big pile awaiting doing whilst I do my van, got it cheap. This version is much prettier tho

...........what is the sound quality like?

I have one of these and the sound quality is surprisingly good, especially for it's size. In my opinion, it's better sounding than the JVC 550 which is that huge 10" mono, so that's saying something.
