From what I understand - they bought Sanyo Electric - division that makes batteries, among other things. Not sure if that's the entire Sanyo, or only part of them. So maybe next thing we know - Panasonic is going to create an electric car or something

Re-reading th article - it just says Sanyo - so maybe they did buy the whole thing. They should release a BigBen re-do to celebrate
