Hi everyone, as I'm restoring my 9595 I have some paint that has rubbed away on the bottom of the grills.
The question I have has anyone painted their 9595 grills or whoever has one could they check for what color if they could?
I usually use the spray paint available at stores or hobby stores.
I figure I should restore this all the way!
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would think a good flat black rust paint would work really well for that....are the grills flat, semi or gloss black. It looks flat to me in the pics but, regardless, you can find an easy match if the color is black...

That is a sweet box but the heaviest box for its size I have one also waiting to be restored.

Semi gloss black.
Just need to give them a little sanding and am painting them this weekend when it gets a little warmer.

I use a satin black. Doesn't quite have the shine of a semi-gloss but reflects just enough and has a powder coated look to it. :-)

Can anyone tell me what sandpaper grit to use to sand my Sharp GF-9595H grills?
I need to get some sandpaper and paint these grills so I can test this!
