In that time, 35mm films here are too expensive (and we are in five brothers and two sisters).
Dosen't have pics with my CCE CSC830-FW back in the day, but I STILL have my radio here, since 78/79.

Nice to see more pics and histories...

Cheers.

Very cool bro👍😎 Unfortunately I don't have any because for some reason taking pics back then was rare. But I do remember watching and old video I had from late 90's and seen my Lasonic TRC975 in it for a split second 😒

I think I paid $180 (NIB) for it at the Chino Swap Meet in (So. Cali). The flight attendants stowed it in their kitchen area when I flew with it to Texas. They thought it was awesome! I wish I had taken pics of Me with My Sony CFS-500 before this, and My Pilot 8060 turntable box before the Sony. PILOT_8060.jpg (Googled pic)

That's a great story. Different times back then. If today we ask a flight crew to do that we'd get thrown off the plane!😳

The Chino Swap Meet is a hidden gem in this region. How did you find it?

I grew up in Pomona as a kid. We went there often. We had family in Diamond Bar too. Can't remember if that was close to Chino or not. I took My wife and kids to Pomona once, to show them where I grew up. I'm glad I was packing My Dept's duty weapon because the neighborhoods looked rough. When I was a Chavalito there, the Cholos never messed with Me and My friends because where we were too young for them to mess with. They were too busy beating up others over turf wars like Sharky's Park, 12th street, and Cherryville.
