Opinions on Yamaha PC-9

Any opinions on this box? I read somewhere it was based on a Sanyo, I think!

I remember checking one out at the stereo shop back in the day. Seemed like a nice box. I remember how the main section split up.I ended up buying the Aiwa CA-70 though. So something swayed me. Let me know your thoughts

Never owned one but I've heard Yamaha are built pretty good

The Yamaha PC-9 is an aka of the Sanyo C-7. I have a C-7 and it is a fantastic sounding machine. It has a clean and powerful sound signature. The mids and highs come through loud and clear and it has very good sound separation. The bass is clean but not over the top...very balanced sound. I would snatch it up without hesitation. You will love the sound of this boombox. Here is a pic of the C-7...

Hi Old skewl, I have a Yamaha PC-9 and is to me very powerful boombox with plenty of bass and treble. Good quality sound.
U wont be disapointed.

Thanks for the input guys! I remember liking it when I demoed it(oh so many years ago!) I think I'll see if I can get my hands on one!
