I found this listed on eBay Italy and thought it would end up going for heaps, he had it listed for 49.99 euro start price, someone bid 50 I bid 51 and thought I'd just watch it and see what happened, I was prepared to go higher but nothing happened and I won it much to my surprise. Shipping was a bit but I opted for tracking so that has to be expected.

The heading read HITACHI TRK-3D95E RADIO REGISTRATORE CASSETTE NUOVO the bit that got me interested was NUOVO (new)

It came pretty quick, I was worried that it was headed to Austria which has happened to me before instead of Australia on something else I bought from eBay many years ago.

Love the sound of it, easily probably the best sounding box I have, not sure if I want to dirty the virgin cassette heads playing all the old 80's compilation tapes I have though :hmmm:

I am one very happy individual at the moment. :-D

Fantastic! Great to see her arrive all in one piece!!

Not going to find many radios, even of a 90s vintage, in that kind of brand-new condition.

Great score, they sound very good. Getting one like new in the orignal box has to make it a rare score.
I've got the version with the CD player and it pumps out great sound but I wish it had some LED meters like yours.

you should have seen the quote to send a box to US from melbourne, i saw some express sir services for $700
most were around $280. Some very creative packing made an unbelivable difference to the price.

Into and out of AU, proper packing of a box = big $$.
