On the road again: Moving to Naples Italy

Hello to all my Boomboxery friends...

As the title states, my wife and I are moving to Italy, Naples to be exact. If you remember, 5 years ago we were in Okinawa, Japan. Now, my wife has been offered and accepted a job in Naples, so we're off on another adventure. The job will last for a minimum of 3 years, and a max of 5.

To answer the first question I know you're all wondering...
YES! I am taking all my radios with me!

Because "You know I can't live without my radio(s)"

The process is just beginning, probably going to take at least 2 to 3 months before we leave, but the packing starts TODAY!

To all the European Boombox Collectors, LET'S DO THIS! I have every intention, if possible, to get out and meet members, have meets, pound radios, see collections and document it for Boombox Magazine.

I want to say thank you at all of the West Coast Crew. It's be an honor and a privilege to have rocked a box with you all. We will do it again when I get back.

With that said, let's crank this thing to 11

Man, if I can survive rush hour on the 101 and 405 in Los Angeles AND driving in Japan, I can make it ANYWHERE!

Funny, I will hold a driver license in 3 different countries and a motorcycle license in 2!

BTW, wifey wants to go to the UK, so....maybe....some sort of....UK MEET!

Thanks Ira, As Charlie Daniels once said "Gotta keep a movin' just to keep from goin' down!"

As for band related stuff...I have been releasing music, almost an hour's worth of new tracks this year. I'm still doing radio promotions and interviews and still being asked "When?". Oddly enough an offer came in last year, centered in Rome. I spoke with that person today and an interesting offer is on the table, but I'm not sure I have to stomach for it all again. I did allot of years in a van with no windows traveling at night. It's harder than one thinks. BUT, you should never say never RIGHT?

My mothers family is from Sicily, so I guess it's like going home.

One thing is for sure, I'm gonna Rock a Box with Max in Berlin rolling around in Herbie!

The way I see it, there is less of a chance of Russia NUKING Italy than Los Angeles! :annoyed:
