So I picked this up for I think about a tenner because I couldn't have no one bidding on it. I felt sorry for it lol. It looks fecked and none of the switches can even move at all...I mean all of them! Not one moves! But it does power up. Wish me luck!IMG_4190.JPGIMG_4191.JPGIMG_4192.JPGIMG_4197.JPGIMG_4196.JPG

Screws missing and wires not connected. Think someone opened it up and went sod that for a laugh. Think it needs CPR and intensive care :-)

With a little patience and TLC I'm confident you'll get the very best out of this sadly neglected piece of BB history.

It's alive! :-)

It's all working now, needed a few replacement parts and I might replace a couple of switches that are still a little tight. But it all works and sounds good.

Been cleaning the hell out of it...you know you're OCD when you find yourself derailing a circuit board with a cocktail stick lol.

Onto the cosmetics!

How was the tuning window fixed in and how easy (or difficult) was it to remove?
They're glued in. I soak the edges in isopropyl alcohol just to soften the glue...not sure it makes any difference lol. Then break the contact on the top edge where the surround is more flexible then just work your way round. Just using hands, no tools. Not too difficult, just have to be careful
