Has anyone saw a SOUNDESIGN 20/20? I've had mine a long time.

Yeah, there are a few of those kicking around. Timeless design on that classic!

The Soundesign version is definitely rare. It was also branded under Yorx and Clairtone. The Yorx version is sort of rare, also. There seem to be more Clairetones available though. You definitely have a beauty!! :agree: :surf:

It seems the Rising version has very different PCB boards than my Soundeign. The Rising has a nearly 45 degree angle "cut" from the boards. The Soundesign boards are fully sqare and nearly reach the bottom of the case. It looks like the Rising were disigned to hold a larger speker in depth size. I hope not, I just bought a full Clairtone ( Conion C100) 7980 set of speakers, as one of mine has been patched over the years and I want to install them while I have it apart to service it. The seller is a Canadian that said he had repaired over 60 Clairtone 7980's and sold 53 over the years and is starting to get rid of his extra spares due to health reasons and age. He seems to know what he is talking about. He repaired C-100' also,as well as the Clairtone 7978 AKA Rising and Helix, I'm not sure my case is deep enough to support The Clairtone 7980 speaker even though he said the Clairtone is the same 2.5 inch depth speaker spec. I guess I'll know when I receive them. If they won't work they will be up for sale.
