Dear Experts and Seniors,

I just done a dealing with Nordmende Discocorder 4186 220volt Europe model about to be shipped to Asia.
This is built with 220volt/ 15volt transformer inside. In my region (Asia), the power supply is 240volt single phase.

So can i plug it to 240volt and enjoy or i need to do some modification to start enjoy with this unit?

Sometimes, circuitry gets damaged. Sometimes, the circuitry doesn't get immediate damage. How sensitive each model is to voltage variances depends on model. In many cases, a 10% difference in voltage can result in poor quality audio (distortion, etc). A step down transformer is the best solution.

Well I’ve had several 220v boxes from Germany and have used them here in the UK, which is 240v, never once had a problem.
