so it was more than i usually spend but it is perfect unused condition even got the manual. this is a really nice three piece boombox. it has the worst design for a battery compartment i think i have ever seen but it sounds really really good. every thing works sound is very good. theres nice bass but not going to blow you across the room. thats ok in my books. i like the balance of the sound of this and the bass it can cut rolls off nicely.
it was thirty five bucks from the thrift but it really really shines.
tape deck works just a super nice sanyo compo. you can see with this cp7 they for sure were in the race with other makers like jvc and sony for well made compos at the time. what happened to sanyo along the way i mean there quality just went down and down along the way.
i didnt even have to clean this one. i mean someone obviously kept it in the closet for the last twenty five odd years.

That's nice, definitely worth $12. You didn't pay any more than that did you? 
i pd 25.00 and sold it for I think $60 or so,on ebay,can't complain considering what i pd and the tape was dead,but a fully workin' one for $35 u still did very very well,they are built solid,and sound nice
